Vinyl & Heat Transfer

Heat transfer vinyl is the entry-level decoration method: cut a design from a coloured vinyl sheet, weed the excess, press it onto the garment. Krublanks stocks fabrics that tolerate the high-temperature press cycles vinyl requires.

Vinyl ranges from standard PU (durable, low-cost) to specialty types: PVC for fine detail, glitter for fashion applications, reflective for safety apparel, printable for full-colour designs. Press temperatures run 280 to 320°F depending on vinyl type. Fabrics with low heat tolerance (rayon, some performance synthetics) can scorch.

Vinyl works best for spot decoration (single-colour logos, names, numbers) rather than complex multi-colour artwork. Detailed editorial on per-vinyl-type fabric tolerance, application patterns, and durability is in progress.
